Grasford W. Smith was sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Bar Association at the Bar’s annual Installation Banquet at the Breakers in Palm Beach on June 11th. He will also serve as Co-Chair of this year’s Palm Beach County Bar Association Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.
Smith, a firm shareholder, concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, eminent domain and transactional matters. He previously served as Parliamentarian of the National Bar Association, President of the F. Malcolm Cunningham Sr. Bar Association in Palm Beach County, Chairperson of the Transaction Law Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and member of The Florida Bar President’s Commission on Review of the Florida Bar’s Discipline System. Smith earned his law degree from New York University School of Law, is a graduate of Florida State University's College of Business, has earned a Business Strategy Certificate from Cornell University's Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management has been accepted in the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education program for Emerging Leaders.
