Robert W. Wilkins was a panelist at the 2015 East Coast eDiscovery and Information Governance Retreat in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Wilkins participated in a panel discussion with other seasoned eDiscovery professionals entitled “Ethics: eDiscovery, Social Media and IoT (Internet of Things).” They explored important ethical considerations as related to eDiscovery, the impact that new technologies have on ethical responsibilities; and how to prepare for the new growing source of litigation data.
Co-Chair of the Jones Foster Litigation Department, Wilkins primarily practices in the areas of business litigation and eDiscovery, including counseling clients on all issues related to Information Governance, Privacy and Information Security. He is Board Certified in both Civil Trial Law and Business Litigation. Board Certification is the highest level of evaluation by the Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, and professionalism and ethics in practice. Wilkins served for six years on The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization which oversees 24 certification areas (2008-2013) and for six years on The Florida Bar Business Litigation Certification Committee, including as Vice Chair and Chair (2003- 2008). Wilkins earned his Bachelor of Science degree with high honors from Michigan State University and his law degree from Albany Law School in Albany, New York, where he graduated as class Valedictorian.
