Megan Coughlin is an associate attorney in Jones Foster's litigation department and concentrates her practice in probate litigation. She graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2014, where she was a member of the Moot Court Team and winner of the “Best Oralist” Award. She was a Legal Research and Writing Teaching Assistant, an Appellate Advocacy Teaching Assistant, and a Student Ambassador. Her previous experience includes working as a Legal Intern at the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville, Florida, and as a Summer Law Clerk for The Honorable Lori S. Rowe, Florida 1st District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee. She was most recently a Law Clerk for The Honorable Jonathan D. Gerber, Florida 4th District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach.
Megan is actively involved in the community and various industry organizations. She is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers Palm Beach Chapter. She is a 2018 graduate of Leadership West Palm Beach, a program developed by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches to cultivate leadership potential. Notably, Megan was named as a Top Lawyer of 2018 by Palm Beach Illustrated as a result of peer review surveys sent to all certified lawyers in Palm Beach County.
